Appreciate Others

People don’t realize,
(Or do they even care?)
That a nobody is still a somebody,
And ignoring their existence isn’t fair,
Everyone needs some type of loving.
Am I the only human being,
That practices humanity?
That embraces my weaknesses and turns them into strengths?
I have encountered many people in my time,
Withered down from cruel words and abuse,
Who now purge, burn, or partake in the knife,
Begging for God to take their life,
People don’t realize,
(I doubt they even care)
That a simple act of kindness,
Can help remove someone’s blindness,
And see the sunshine that’s always been there.
