Triad Volume XLII · 2021–22
Hillsborough College student magazine of art and literature
Hillsborough Community College provides opportunities for students along many stages in their academic career, serving as an avenue for education wherever the path may lead. This year’s edition of the Triad comes amid a time of confusion and fear making its purpose more clear than ever. The hardships brought by the COVID-19 pandemic have affected students at every level. With the help and dedication of Dr. Gaspar and the Hawk Media Club, the Triad has proudly served as a vessel for the heart and soul of Hawks everywhere.
Art can come in many forms — love, pain, comfort, vulnerability — but throughout all works, each piece tells a story unique to its own. With this year’s edition, I want to stress the commitment of every contributor. The ability to continue to create and share your story through the struggles of this year are truly admirable. This commitment is what inspires the Triad to highlight art’s various embodiments, broadcasting the beauty and emotion of student work.
I am proud to have been a part of this year’s volume. I want to say thank you to all of the students who submitted to this year’s edition. Please enjoy this year’s volume of Hawk Media’s Triad.
