That one poem in iambic pentameter

That one poem in iambic pentameter~ Michael Christopher Inman

If I were one to know the heart you’d see.
You cannot comprehend these feelings mine.
If you could, in love we would always be,
Lips so beautiful and crimson like wine.

Eyes deeper than the deepest sea glow blue.
Skin tanner than the beach’s tannest sand.
The hue of features a timbre taboo.
A beauty worthy of all that is grand.

A love so blind, indecisive but strong.
There is no way that this could do any wrong.
Fear not in my arms, you will stay forever.
I will not leave you, not now, not ever.

Without you in my life, I’d go insane.
Within my heart, you shall always remain.
