Ode to Nietzche

God is dead.

So, was he once alive?

When and exactly how did he die?

How could we ever define him?

Who came up with the name?

Without him, who will we blame?

In his absence, will things still be the same?

Why are we evolving?

What is the purpose of our existence?

Who or what set the planets spinning?

Is this all just an accident?

With my heart, this doesn’t sit well.

Satisfying only is a love undying.

This, He left me here to tell.

Whether you believe or not,

the conclusion is the same.

Let’s work together mankind.

Soon, we’ll all be in the grave.
