Why a Manual Transmission?

By Charles Beadle

Is it the complete control? Maybe it’s the

deep sinking feeling when you fall into

leather bucket seats. This vehicle moves

only when made to, an extension of the body.

Operating a manual transmission is a

continuous pursuit of perfection. One

may always be better, drive more smoothly.

Acceleration, momentum, and timing are

all factors to master. Imagine a harmony

of expertly engineered components and

700 raging horses, all precisely controlled

by one swift wrist. The vehicle is your

orchestra and you are the conductor.
