There is so much detail put into this work. The contrast of hues to bring out the facial hair and attention to detail in the eyes really bring out the focus of the face along with the shading. The facial expression looks like the person is in deep thought or very concerned about something. Also like how the background is kept simple so it draws the attention to the face. It makes me pay attention to the important details.
